Hi!
So glad you stopped by !
    Let me just say,
"Epilepsy not only affects the people or persons experiencing the seizures, it affects each person differently. "
A bit about why i decided to do this, attempt to make a blog.
Back in 2017, maybe earlier, people on social media were talking about blogs & other things they had created, so i would quietly take a look at their websites, struggling within myself if i could even try it. i didn't consider myself the writer type of person.
Fast forward to approx. 2018, i found a blog making site called Webnode, my thought was " it's free so if i mess up being a newbie blogger, there'd be no one to blame but, me ." Created a couple of blog websites, one was: more than just seizures, the other epilepsy journey , as i was trying to do my story from a parent point of view ( Epilepsy, mom of a fighter, idea ), those pages have since been moved here, their new home created Oct. 2025.
A huge THANK YOU to my oldest daughter for helping me choose the blog website name.
Figuring out where i wanted my 1st blog ( years ago) to go, who to reach was a struggle, not being a writer at that time. It was all so new & still feels like it, every time I post.
    I'm constantly learning.
Throughout these pages, i talk about Epilepsy Awareness, Photosensitivity Epilepsy, SUDEP - Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy, Anxiety , Depression , Seizure first aid & much more .

My hope is to ;

• empower

• encourage

• connect through friendships / content

• inform

• educate

• advocate

This isn't a perfect professional site like some folks have, but it's mine & i'm super happy with it.

• Special THANK YOU to webnode support team, for answering all my questions about  building blog pages etc, when i originally made one in 2018, you're incredible!!

* Note : Even though my main focus is Epilepsy Awareness, I've added other topics along this Purple Road as well , i hope you enjoy the content provided. *

Everyone has a story, i leave you with this ,

" One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will become someone elses's survival guide. " Ice T
